Tired of the JKU constantly disappointing me I had the Detroit Lockers removed and had ARB lockers installed. The JK was in Moab for the repairs so I trailered my Willys MB out to play with also. I figured I should have at least one toy to drive at the Easter Jeep Safari.
Both vehicles held together well and afforded me 10 great wheeling days. We took the Willys on Hells Revenge Trail, Moab Rim Trail, Kane Creek Trail and Flat Iron Trail run backwards. We took the JK on the 100 mile plus White Rim Trail, went snow bashing up in the LaSal Mountains at Geyser Pass. We ran the Rose Garden Trail where we ran into the Jeep convoy of concept vehicles out for a photo shoot.
We had the pleasure of being led by the able Red Rock Four Wheelers guide Dave C. We were also joined by the crazies from Omaha and the RRFW guides from Lichenstein and their pals from Switzerland.
